Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the pizza dough packaging (usually around 450°F or as directed).
  2. If your pizza dough is refrigerated, remove it from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 20-30 minutes to make it easier to work with. If it's frozen, follow the thawing instructions on the packaging.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness. If you prefer a thinner crust, roll it out thinner; for a thicker crust, keep it thicker. Use a rolling pin to achieve an even thickness.
  4. Grease or line a pizza pan or baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the rolled-out pizza dough onto the pan.
  5. Brush the surface of the pizza dough with a little olive oil. This will help prevent the crust from becoming soggy.
  6. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.
  7. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Then distribute the drained tuna evenly across the pizza. If desired, add the optional toppings like olives, red onions, and bell peppers.
  8. Sprinkle dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper over the toppings to season the pizza.
  9. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the top of the pizza.
  10. Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake according to the pizza dough package instructions or until the crust is golden brown, and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned (usually around 12-15 minutes, but check the package for guidance).
  11. Carefully remove the tuna pizza from the oven and let it cool for a minute or two. Slice it into pieces, and it's ready to serve!

Enjoy your homemade tuna pizza! You can also add your favorite toppings or experiment with different sauces to create your own unique variations.
