Instructions:

  1. Start by cooking the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes, until the garlic becomes fragrant but not browned.
  3. If using white wine, pour it into the skillet and let it simmer for a couple of minutes until it's slightly reduced.
  4. Add the clam juice and chicken (or vegetable) broth to the skillet. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and let it cook for about 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the liquid to reduce slightly.
  5. Stir in the lemon juice and the reserved minced clams. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat the clams through.
  6. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste. Remember that the clam juice can be salty, so adjust the seasoning accordingly.
  7. Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet with the clam sauce. Gently toss the pasta to coat it with the sauce.
  8. Serve the pasta in individual plates, sprinkled with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
  9. Enjoy your delicious clam sauce pasta!

Feel free to customize the recipe by adding additional ingredients like chopped tomatoes, fresh basil, or a splash of cream for a creamier sauce.
